Diserio Martin is pleased to announce that April Pyatt and Christina Volpe have joined the firm as Attorneys.

Christina M. Volpe received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Roger Williams University in 2014, with a double major in Economics and Political Science. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law in May 2017. While attending law school, Ms. Volpe was a member of the Honors Program, served as an Assistant Editor of the Roger Williams University Law Review, and was a Rhode Island Supreme Court Rule 9 Student Attorney. Ms. Volpe passed the Connecticut bar in September 2017.

April E. Pyatt is an Associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. April has an extensive background in trademark clearance, anti-counterfeiting, brand protection and intellectual property rights enforcement gained during her time as head of global intellectual property at leading luxury goods company Coach, Inc. She also has a wide-ranging background in alcohol beverage regulatory law, marketing/advertising law and counseling businesses in these areas from knowledge and experience acquired working with brands such as Absolut Vodka, Perrier Jouët, The Glenlivet, 1800 Tequila and Jose Cuervo in positions at Pernod Ricard USA and Proximo Spirits, Inc. Having in-house legal department experience at large consumer goods companies, April has the ability to view legal issues with a business lens and advocate for her clients in creative ways that further their business objectives.
