Danielle Charlot is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Danielle represents individuals and entities in a wide variety of matters, including insurance defense litigation, personal injury litigation, professional liability litigation, complex civil litigation, appellate practice and business disputes & commercial litigation. Her practice spans the state and federal Courts of both Connecticut and New York. A majority of Danielle’s practice is in trucking and transportation casualty and related issues for some of the largest motor carriers and truck insurance carriers in the country, and in advocacy for sexual assault victims in personal injury suits.
Prior to joining DMOC, Danielle worked for a firm in Manhattan practicing civil rights, class action and complex litigation. Danielle earned her J.D., with honors, from Pace University School of Law, where she served as the Productions Editor of Pace International Law Review and President of the Public Interest Law Students Organization. She also worked as a student attorney with John Jay Legal Services where she appeared as counsel for criminal defendants in cases referred by the Bronx Legal Aid Society.
Danielle currently serves in various capacities on boards and committees of her Church and her children’s school. She also serves on a board providing resources and financial assistance for domestic violence victims. Danielle also occasionally volunteers with the University of Utah’s Moran Eye Center where she assists medical professionals with eye surgeries in Tanzania. Her work in Tanzania was featured in the 2023 Connecticut Super Lawyer’s Magazine.
